Camping & Caravans
Trethiggey is ideal for camping and touring being on the edge of Newquay with all its attractions and close to Cornwall's beautiful coast and rugged Moors. The main park consists of 10 landscaped acres with another eight acres of fenced meadowland.
Many of our pitches are sheltered by trees and shrubs and have panoramic views across the valley. In summer Trethiggey is a riot of colour with flowerbeds dotted around the park. We have more than 100 pitches with electric hook-ups, some grass and others hard standings.
There are two utility blocks with free showers, toilets, laundries and washing up facilities. Each block has a games room with pool table, TV and games machines. In winter the main block is heated.

The park is home to a wide variety of birds and other wildlife. Woodpeckers are a common sight along with herons, buzzards and a host of other smaller birds. There's a small fishing lake too, supporting carp, bream, roach and tench along with a few wild trout. This is securely fenced and away from the central park.
For children there's a play area and plenty of room to run around in safety. Dogs are restricted in some areas of the park but we do have a large field where they can be exercised.
For caravanners, our pitches are mostly flat or gently sloping. All hook-ups are 16amp, suitable for Spring, Autumn and Winter when you need the heating on as well as the telly and other appliances.
