Trevarno Estate Gardens &
The National Museum of Gardening

A unique range of hand made craft workshops is being established at Trevarno each sharing a common ethos of using materials from the Estate, or being influenced and inspired by the gardens and grounds. These include a hand made soap workshop, Organic herbal workshop, A Bee workshop and a hand made copper water feature workshop. If you have an interest in a particular workshop at Trevarno we suggest you phone to check that the relevant craft person will be available at the time of your visit.

A rare and very special part of Cornwall with a fascinating history stretching back to 1246 when Randolpus de Trevarno first gave the Estate its name. Privately owned since then by a succession of notable families, the magnificent gardens and grounds have been developed and extended over the centuries to become what many have described as one of the ten finest in a county renowned for its great gardening tradition. Now open through the year for the first time in 750 years the enchanting combination of mature woodland landscapes with formal areas and many inspired garden features creates a magical and memorable experience which will be enjoyed by all age groups.
