An award-winning architect-designed cedar wood house, with glorious views over St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. Set in a beautiful cottage garden with private covered deck, barbecue and parking (careful - narrow entrance!). There is ample parking and a turning space outside the Studio with additional parking in Steeple Lane if required.
Situated on the edge of St Ives, Blackbird Studio is in a quiet wooded area yet within walking distance of the many beaches, art galleries and restaurants. It is adjacent to footpaths and bridleways should you prefer to take a more tranquil route and enjoy the wildlife - a walkers paradise!

The house has a colonial-style feel with the perfect mix of contemporary style and rustic charm. As you follow the garden path you will enter through double doors into the open-plan galleried lounge equipped with large flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo and Wi -Fi.This leads on to the kitchen and dining area with large family table. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob/electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. This beautiful living space has glorious sea views over St Ives Bay. To the side is a staircase leading to a mezzanine lounge/reading room perfect for sketching or just taking in the views!
There is a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer and wet room with WC, washbasin and electric shower. There is under floor gas central heating and a cosy log burner.
The three lovely bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin) are light and airy and have bespoke whitewashed fitted wardrobes. All beds are made with quality linen and guest towels are provided.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over and washbasin and WC.
There is a mezzanine area with far reaching views across the north coast. It has a sofa and desk for chilling out or even doing some art.
Please bring your own beach towels.

Blackbird Studio is set off the main road into St. Ives, in a quiet area on the edge of fields and woodland. You do not need to drive into the town and risk the hustle and bustle of the narrow streets and the one-way system.
Do drive slowly up Steeple Lane - it's very narrow with Cornish hedges!

PLEASE NOTE: The entrance to the lane leading to the house off the road is very narrow and requires great care. If your car is unusally wide you might prefer to park in the layby opposite the entrance which is about 90 metres from the house. It is rarely a problem but please ask if you are unsure.
