A Characterful and Cosy Seaside Holiday Chalet
Broadview is a traditional wooden beach chalet, built in the 1940's. It sits nestled in the grassy dunes ( Towans is the old Cornish name for sand dune) within St Ives Bay near Hayle, amongst an eclectic mix of individually owned holiday homes. A short stroll to the beach, this sunny retreat sleeps 4 in a comfortable double bedroom and bunkroom. Perfect for a classic Cornish seaside holiday.
Broadview is family owned and run, we hope to share our unique space with you to make those specal holiday memories.....forget clock watching, recharge your batteries and relax!
Hayle beach is 3 miles long, stretching from Hayle Estuary to Gwithian/Godrevy. It has safe, life-guarded sections for swimming/body boarding, great surfing towards Gwithian with surf schools and hire, rock pools, dunes and is in our opinion one of the best beaches in Cornwall! The coastal footpath runs through the Chalets and wild sand dunes round to Godrevy. The sunsets are spectacular and you can always find a quiet spot somewhere, even in Summer.

- 1 double bedroom
- Bedroom with 1 set of full length bunk beds.
- Duvets and pillows provided, please bring bed linen, towels and tea towels.

- Well equipped kitchen, with induction hob and electric oven.
- Slimline dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster.

- French doors to both back and front and the main bedroom.

- Parking close by to the rear, but there is a slope down to chalet (not easily accessible if you have mobility difficulties)

Situated about 4 miles from St Ives, with it's hub of restaurants and galleries, and within reach of St Michael's Mount, The Minack Theatre, Lands End, The Eden Project, fishing villages and sandy coves ...the chalet is the ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. Broadview has been renovated to keep the quirky and unique wooden chalet style of its 1940's beginnings, but has the modern comforts needed to have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
Lovingly restored and extended using natural and reclaimed materials, the chalet has an open plan living area with french doors front and rear, to let the outside in on sunny days. The front gets the morning sun, perfect for breakfast, the back is an afternoon sun trap.

- Deposit is 25% of total cost, balance to be paid 28 days before arrival
- Deposit is non-refundable unless the property can be re-let, which we will try to do
- Arrival is from 3pm onwards, departure 10 am
- A damages deposit of £100 is taken, this is refunded after departure
- Please bring your own bed linen and towels/ tea towels
- Electricity is included, but from 2023 bookings during April/May/ September/October will have a 'fair usage' limit, after which a charge will be applied, to encourage a considered consumption of power.
- Parking is just behind the Chalet, there is a slope to access the chalet from both directions, so may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
