The Kenton Guesthouse has a stunning location situated on the cliff tops at Porth between Watergate Bay and Newquay, with uninterrupted panoramic sea views for miles around.


Porth is a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Newquay town centre, but also has the added bonus that it is still close enough for you to get to in just a few minutes by car, or even just a 30 minute walk for the more active person. We are also located just half a mile from Watergate Bay with Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant and the Extreme Sports Academy where you can have many different lessons including surfing.
Here at the Kenton Guesthouse we have a very informal friendly relaxed atmosphere and pride ourselves on making our guests feel at home and welcome, so even if you are travelling alone you can feel completely at ease. We welcome families and provide a children's menu. Our aim is to make your holiday as perfect as possible, as all of our guests who return time after time have found.

Facilities
The Kenton Guesthouse has 15 letting bedrooms, most with glorious sea views. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with shower, toilet and wash basin, we do also have one room with double bath and shower. All rooms are comfortably furnished with central heating for the cooler months and have tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, and flat screen TVs with digital channels.




Our restaurant looks directly out over the Atlantic Ocean and meals are generous with a varied menu, with child & vegetarian options. Like our restaurant, the bar and sun lounge also look out on the stunning scenery of Whipsiderry beach and Porth island, with deep blue green water and rolling waves. The perfect place to relax and unwind with a drink after a busy day of sight seeing, or maybe just somewhere to sit and gaze at the breathtaking views whilst socialising with other guests. Our fully stocked bar has a range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages as well as a selection of hot drinks.
We also have a Games room with pool table & dart board, and ample lounge space for relaxing.
The Kenton Guesthouse has ample free off road car parking spaces located to the front and rear of the property along with ample secure storage space for surf boards, bicycles and golf clubs etc. We are also lucky to have a large lawned area to the side of the hotel for children to play safely whilst being watched by their parents from the bar. This leads to the front of the property with large sun terrace and outside seating to enjoy the late summer evenings and watch the amazing sunsets over the stunning scenery.
We also have a Games room with pool table & dart board, and ample lounge space for relaxing.
The Kenton Guesthouse has ample free off road car parking spaces located to the front and rear of the property along with ample secure storage space for surf boards, bicycles and golf clubs etc. We are also lucky to have a large lawned area to the side of the hotel for children to play safely whilst being watched by their parents from the bar. Nightly prices are for a minimum stay of two nights.

New Year Breaks at the Kenton Guesthouse
Why not book a New Year party break at the Kenton as a treat for all that hard work you put in over Christmas? New Year breaks are available for 2 to 4 night packages for the whole family. Packages include Bed, Breakfast and Evening meal for the length of stay, plus: Lunch buffet on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Fancy dress party night with a glass of bubbly new years eve and in house family entertainment New Year's Day night.
Local Area
To the left of the Kenton Guesthouse is the award winning Porth beach, a flat sandy beach ideal for swimming, with a pitch and putt, crazy golf courses and beach side cafés and shop. To the right of the Kenton Hotel is Watergate Bay with its golden sands magnificent surfing waves, Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant and the Extreme Sports Academy. Directly in front of the hotel is Whipsiderry beach, a beautiful secluded little beach with caves and rock pools to explore at low tide. That's three sandy beaches to explore from the Kenton Hotel and all within walking distance.
Newquay, Porth and the surrounding areas are ideally situated and centrally based for exploring Cornwall, with its breath taking coast lines, unspoilt countryside and picturesque fishing villages. As parts of Cornwall are considered to be sub-tropical, it's no wonder that there are an abundance of beautiful gardens, some with fine stately homes to visit, where you will find many tropical plants growing outside in the mild temperate conditions. Not to mention the Eden Project where you can see a fully grown tropical rain forest and Mediterranean garden all growing under the protective cover of huge biomes.
There are plenty of family attractions within easy reach of the hotel with all ages and interests catered for, from museums and castles to fun parks, animal sanctuaries and theme parks to keep everyone happy.
