Carved into the hillside, this magnificent whitewashed Victorian house oozes charm, 12 individually styled rooms offer a refuge from today’s hectic pace. Barclay House is an ideal bolthole for cosseting and enjoying the spectacular river, countryside and harbour views.

Originally built around 1890 as a Victorian family villa of uncompromising architecture, this wonderful house has a spacious elegance and magnificent relaxed air about it. We have been captivated by its fabulous position and ever changing scenery since the day we arrived!

Rooms at Barclay House are all en suite. The House overlooks the East Looe River valley, affording front facing rooms a spectacular river outlook. Other bedrooms offer guests a selection of glorious garden views and side river views, some looking out across the open air heated swimming pool.
