A much-loved classic character seaside chalet with panoramic views overlooking St Ives Bay.
Tucked in the dunes, yet it is just a 5 minute walk to an amazing 3 mile stretch of sandy beaches. This coastal retreat is one of a very few remaining 1930's original wooden chalets left in the country, sympathetically restored with everything you need for a memorable holiday.
Hayle is situated just 4 miles from St Ives with its many fine restaurants, shops and the renowned Tate gallery. There is a fab scenic 'Park and Ride' train journey to St Ives which travels alongside the coastal path (the train can be seen from the chalet) which all ages can enjoy. There is so much to do and see in Cornwall for everyone - Museums, Art galleries, the amazing Eden Project, surfing, golf, cycling and walking the beautiful coastal path. For the less energetic amongst us, Hayle beach stretches for 3 miles up to Gwithian for a traditional family bucket-and-spade type of holiday!
The large gabled kitchen/dining room is a lovely character-filled area including full-size cooker and dishwasher and washing machine. The very light and airy sitting room is surrounded by a traditional wooden veranda to enjoy the magnificent views and sunsets. 2 two seater sofas, Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. The chalet has wifi.
There is a growing band of regular visitors who love to return time and time again. Our chalet is family owned, maintained and cleaned by us and we hope we can offer you a unique property to create special holidays and memories. Forget clock watching for a while, recharge your jaded batteries, step off the beaten track and - RELAX!

"The moment we arrives at Hawkes Point View I knew we had choosen a very special and unique place for our holiday. Stepping through the flower filled garden and scented herbs into the light filled chalet was one of those always to be remembered moments. The children loved it from the start, 'awesome' said James our 11 year old grandson. - 'it's beautiful grandma' said Lois, 13 years old. We have all had a delighful stay - so much fun, enjoying the simple pleasures of a week by the sea and in a gorgeous place. Thank you. We return home with many cherished memories."
