Welcome to Trefusis Barton
AA 3 Red Diamonds | Open All Year
Trefusis Barton is a 400-acre working dairy and arable farm overlooking the beautiful Fal Estuary. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty it is part of a small, private, historic estate between the yachtsman's paradise of Mylor Harbour and the picturesque village of Flushing.
Although the farm is set in a very quiet location Falmouth is less than ten minutes away by car and the ancient town of Penryn - the site of Cornwall's new university - is even closer.
From various points on the farm the panoramic views of the sea are spectacular. Guests are welcome to enjoy the private woodland path wich leads down to the water's edge at Trefusis Point. Here there are breath-taking views stretching from Falmouth to St Mawes and beyond. This is a popular spot for anglers and there is a small beach where you can relax and watch the sailing. From here it is just a short stroll to the heart of Flushing Village or you can follow the coastal path around to Mylor Harbour.
Guests are welcome to borrow Wellington boots from the porch at the front door.
