The most southerly port in the UK, Porthleven is a historic 19th century fishing port, renowned as a holiday destination that offers peaceful surroundings, excellent food and beautiful coastal views.
Porthleven Holiday Cottages can accommodate 2 to 12 people in charming traditional properties most with sea and harbour views and dog friendly.
Many of our guests come back year after year to enjoy the village and its beautiful surroundings. Located close to Falmouth, Penzance, St Ives, Truro and the Lizard Peninsula, it makes the perfect place from which to explore this area of south-west England.
The village has a great variety of restaurants, bars and authentic Fishermen’s pubs with menus to suit all tastes and budgets. There are also art galleries and craft shops offering work by local artists/craftsmen as well as the Corner Deli, fresh fishmonger, bakery, post office and the summer outdoor Harbour Market, 3 days a week , weather permitting, from April to September.

During the summer months, an abundance of wild flowers adorn the cliff tops, the warmth of the sun penetrates the soft sea breezes and the majesty of the coastline makes it one of the most beautiful places in the South West.
In winter, the seas can be spectacularly dramatic and the cliff tops stretching from Lands End to The Lizard attract walkers all year round. The clock tower of the Bickford-Smith Institute, built in 1883, stands sentinel over the unspoilt harbour.
