Welcome to Ayr Holiday Park
Ayr Holiday Park is the only Holiday Park in St Ives itself, less than half a mile from the beaches, town centre and harbour. All the attractions of this leading Cornish resort are within walking distance and buses regularly pass from the town centre.
Touring & Camping
The main touring park has pitches for tents, motor-caravans and touring caravans. There are excellent views over the sea from most pitches and although the field is naturally sloping, there are areas of level terracing. Almost all pitches have an electric hook-up (16 amp), a tap and drain.
The shower and toilet block is kept clean and maintained to a very high standard. Services such as showers, hot water, hair dryers, shaver points, etc. are all free. There are also dishwashing sinks and a chemical toilet disposal point, plus a waste and water point for motor-caravans.

Holiday Homes
If you have not recently looked in a modern holiday caravan, prepare to have your ideas changed. Today's caravan is bright and airy, comfortable, with a true holiday 'feel'. You will have your own shower and toilet, hot water on tap, and of course, your own kitchen to use (or not) as you see fit. Central heating and double glazing will ensure your comfort whatever time of year you choose to stay. You can choose from our selection of two and three bedroom caravans which sleep up to six people.
Whichever you decide on, you can be sure of a top quality caravan which we are happy to have inspected by as part of the British Graded Holiday Parks scheme.

Apartments
These well appointed ground-floor apartments are positioned to take good advantage of the view from the park. They can sleep up to four people each in two bedrooms (one double room, one with two singles) and have a shower, W.C. and basin.
With central heating, for extra warmth, these apartments are also ideal for holidays early or late in the year, offering a high standard of comfort and space for today's demanding holidaymaker. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave oven and that holiday essential; a dishwasher.

Holiday Park Facilities

We have a well equipped launderette, and although there is no shop on the Park the nearest local shops are 300 - 400 yards away. There is a games room and childrens' playground, and direct access to the coastal footpath through our own fields which can be used for ball games, kite flying or just relaxing.
St Ives and the Local Area
St Ives is a first-class resort with safe, sandy beaches, beautiful scenery and a unique character which permeates the narrow, winding streets. At the heart of the town is the harbour, which has been a safe haven for fishermen and their boats for centuries. It is still the focal point of town, around which everything else has grown.
Late in the nineteenth century, St. Ives acquired a growing artists' community attracted by the natural beauty and the exceptional clarity of the light, and to this day, there is a thriving artists' colony of international renown, with many studios and galleries open to the public. Many works by St. Ives artists can be seen in the St. Ives Tate Gallery which overlooks Porthmeor Beach and is easily reached from the park.
Today, the main attraction of St. Ives is the golden sandy beaches which provide endless fun for children, and safe bathing for all the family. There is, however, a great deal more for the discerning holidaymaker: Golf, Boating, Walks, Great Restaurants, Pubs, Bird Watching, Art, Surfing, Shopping, Antiques, Family Attractions. So much to fill every day.
