Apartment One, 10 Porthminster Terrace, is on the ground floor of a recently converted Victorian house. It's easy to access, being on the east side of St Ives, and hence you don't have to negotiate the narrow streets through the town to get to your accommodation. The apartment is south facing and therefore light and airy with lovely coastal views from the side bay window.
It's tastefully furnished with two bedrooms (sleeping 4). One bedroom has a king-sized bed, plus an ensuite bath with shower over, WC and washbasin, plus access to the courtyard. The other bedroom at the rear of the apartment has a separate shower room with washbasin and WC next door to it. Because the bedrooms are separately located in the apartment considerable privacy is afforded to the respective occupants.
Immediately outside the apartment there's an easily accessed, dedicated parking space (with fold-down lockable parking post) between the front garden and the sunny, sunken courtyard (which gets the south and westerly sun) and which is for guests' sole use - ideal for evening dining. The front garden with its fine south-facing sea view is for guests' exclusive use too.

This apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. I'm quite fussy so was very pleased with the cleanliness. The rooms are all a good size, with lovely high ceilings. It's very well equipped and tastefully furnished. The owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. It's also in a very peaceful area, not a sound all night, I slept well, which is unusual to say the least. Having the parking space is an added bonus. I would highly recommend this apartment and its lovely owner.

Lovely spacious flat in a lovely location with seaviews from the front of the property. Lauran was very helpful and informative about what is in the local area, leaving notes and flyers for local activities. The property is in walking distance to the harbour and High street where there are local shops and a Co-op. Tesco is 5 minutes down the road by car. The flat has everything you need, is clean and well maintained and we will be booking again in the future.

My family and I booked over the August Bank holiday. It was my first time visiting St Ives and I'd read the great reviews regarding this apartment, so decided to book..let me tell you, this place absolutely exceeded expectations. The location couldn't be better - a short walk to the beach and town. The apartment was immaculate and decorated lovely. The parking space was a gem, I knew as soon as I stepped out of the car on arrival, looked at the sea views and opened the apartment door, what a super week we were going to have..it couldn't have been better.
The mattresses and duvets were super comfy, very good quality like a high quality hotel. The beach for my children was so close, they loved it! The apartment is equipped with everything you need, we were never short of anything that hadn't been supplied in the apartment. It's easy to get in and out of town efficiently and is the perfect place to explore amazing places.
My family were genuinely so sad to leave this accommodation, so much so that I was looking whilst there to book my next break. I'd 100% book this accommodation again. It felt like home. It's a little gem! The hosts were fab too, always ready to answer questions and make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you're thinking about booking here ... think no more. DO IT!!! You will thank me :)

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, light and well-equipped. The lounge was very comfortable with a great view of the sea from the front window and the kitchen had every appliance including a dishwasher. The outdoor courtyard was a great place to relax in the sunshine from midday through to the early evening. The Wi-fi was reliable and a decent download speed for watching SkyGo etc. The apartment is in a very quiet area with no traffic noise other than people coming and going from their houses. Porthminster beach was a 5 minute walk away and the centre of St Ives only 10 minutes away. The main surfing beach at Porthmeor was a 15 minute stroll. It is downhill into the town and uphill back but you can’t go far in St Ives without finding a hill. We had a great week in a lovely apartment in a fantastic Cornish Town - plenty of beach time, bodyboarding, crabbing in the harbour, cream teas and rattler cider. Lauran provided a wealth of useful information both before the holiday and during it through the little notes in the apartment. I can thoroughly recommend a stay here. JA, Lancashire

Fabulous apartment with parking! Super location away from hustle and bustle, but still only a short walk away from centre of St Ives (steep walk back uphill but we didn't find it a problem). The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay with some lovely homely touches. Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was a very good size complete with everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We particularly loved the location as it meant you could get away from the crowds in St.Ives town centre and chill out with an late afternoon snifter in the courtyard patio at the side of the apartment. Parking in St.Ives for daytrippers is a nightmare so we were delighted with our large allocated parking space right next to the building. We loved walking down to Porthminster Beach and sampling the delights of the beach bar here. We also loved the fact that the area was so quiet, just perfect for a relaxing holiday. The owner left us a really helpful list in case we got into trouble or had any problems, her attention to detail was superb.

We had a wonderful family holiday in St. Ives and liked the apartment very much! It is very beautiful and well-equipped with a nice seaview, a lovely sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen, two nice and airy bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms, a courtyard with chairs and table and a front garden, a splendid parking space and a great location, which is very quiet and still close to the vivid town centre! It is a few minutes walk into town and to the beach, which is uphill on the way back, due to the location of St. Ives. The apartment is very clean and the owner very helpful. This great holiday apartment exceeded our expectations, it was very well equipped with all the modern appliances and fixtures. The rooms had high ceilings which gave you a feeling of more space and made it cooler on the hot days. The parking space adjacent to apartment was very important to us, but if you travel by train the station is only ten minutes walk away.

This year was the second time that we have stayed at Apartment 1. We love it as it feels like such a home from home. The apartment has everything you need, comfy beds, good size bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lovely views. The apartment always feel fresh and clean. We like the fact that the apartment is easily accessible and has allocated parking right outside....no traipsing through cobbled streets with your suitcase! It's just a five minute stroll into the harbour area or Porthminster beach. Tesco supermarket is also just a five minute drive away. Fortunately the weather was good enough for us to enjoy sitting in the private courtyard, with a nice glass of wine, really relaxing. We love it so much that we are hoping for two weeks here next year. Would highly recommend.

We spent a beautiful week in this property and cannot praise it enough - there was nothing that hadn't been thought of. The property is in a lovely peaceful position at the top of a road with its own parking space. We were fortunate enough to be able to use the courtyard outside of the property which was definitely an added bonus. The bedrooms are nicely separated so give privacy and the main living area is spacious, clean, bright and airy. We will definitely be returning again!

This apartment is lovely, comfortable and was spotlessly clean, The open plan living room / kitchen is excellent and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a great help for a busy family getting ready in the morning. The parking space is just outside and there is a small outdoor area to enjoy. It is very quiet at night too. There a few beaches within about 10 minutes walk and the town itself is a perfect distance away by foot, about five to ten minutes. We had a delicious meal at the Seafood Cafe, getting a table was actually possible but booking would have been best, all the restaurants were packed while we were there. Would we return? Absolutely!

We've just got back from a fantastic week staying in this lovely apartment, me, my husband, 5 year old and 10 month baby. The apartment had everything we needed and being on the ground floor made it easy to get in and out with the pushchair. The apartment is lovely and light and had everything we needed, the washer/ dryer was very handy with two small children. The location was perfect just a few minutes from the beautiful Porthminster beach and a 10 minute (if that stroll) in to central St Ives and all the cafes, shops and restaurants. We hardly needed to use the car which was great. Highly recommend it, we will definitely visit again.

Friend and myself spent a pleasant week at Porthminster Terrace. The apartment is spacious, light and airy. The view from the living room window to the sea was relaxing.
The apartment is well equiped with everything that individuals or a family would need to ensure a relaxing break. As friends on holiday together the layout of the apartment and the location of the bedrooms gave a feeling of privacy and space.
Located in a prime position within St Ives, easy to drive in and out of the town avoiding the narrow streets, yet still within walking distance of all the major attractions. (Beaches, Barbara Hepworth museum and The Tate). The private parking space directly outside the apartment was a major bonus.

We really enjoyed our stay for a week in St Ives. It was great to be able to walk into town and have a car parking space. The town is lovely with lots to look at including great art and craft galleries. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything you needed. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the apartment for 1 week over Easter. The apartment was easily located with its own parking bay & in a great location - central for walking distance but far enough away so no noise caused an issue. It's approximately a 5 min walk to the town centre & harbour but even less than that to Porthminster beach.
The apartment is set over 1 floor & is fully modern with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms which is ideal. The apartment contains everything you require to live in away from home - containing the basics when we arrived of tea, coffee etc
We took the offer of hiring towels for the week to save on luggage which was a great little extra to offer. We were very lucky & had 3 especially lovely sunny days which my daughter used the bucket & spade offered in storage container in the courtyard at rear of property.
The local beach was fantastic & less than 5 mins to walk too. Lots of useful information was available in a folder if needed about the apartment & surrounding areas.
We would not hesitate in staying again & would wholly recommend the apartment for anyone wanting to stay in St Ives.

The property is easily found by car and having a parking space outside the property was a real Bonus in St Ives. The property is very bright and clean with everything needed for self catering but having said that, there are so many different types of eating establishments for all budgets we ate out every night. We would like to thank Lauren for her prompt and great customer service. Would definitely recommend this property. For eating out try the St Andrews Bistro( booking advisable) and the Curry Garden, both served great food. Try the train ride to St Erth (£4.00 for day ticket) as the scenery is fantastic. As soon as we walked into the apartment we felt at home !! Everything you need for a family holiday. Could not believe how big it was. 2 nice size bedrooms and each one had an ensuite which is perfect when you have a family of 4. Nice big lounge to relax in the evening as well. Fantastic location about 10 mins walk from the beach, it was a lovely walk each night to walk off the lovely food we had in St Ives. Car park space is a major plus point as you can park directly outside the apartment. We loved it so much we have booked for same time next year. This was one of the nicest Apartments we have ever stayed in. It was furnished and decorated very tastefully and to a very high standard - and most importantly - going in November it was always warm and comfortable. We couldn't think of anything that the Kitchen didn't have. It was so good to have 2 Bathrooms as well as 2 Bedrooms which makes it perfect if more than 2 people are staying. It is set in a very quiet location only 5 minutes walk(downhill) to the Harbour but having the parking is a real bonus. To get there and away is very easy too - you don't have to drive through the narrow streets in town. We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was even nicer than the pictures suggested and we were surprised by just how spacious it was inside. The parking space is so conveniently positioned and the apartment is really well placed to enjoy Porthminster beach and St Ives without the hassle of driving and finding parking. The apartment has everything you might need and plenty of storage to put all of your things away properly (and with a toddler we came heavily packed!). By the end of our stay it felt like a real home from home and were sad to leave. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the bay window with a glass of wine in the evening watching the sea.

Our second stay in this lovely apartment and the location is perfect!! 5 minutes walk from the harbour and beaches at st ives as well as being within reasonable driving distance to some of the best places this part of cornwall has to offer, Lizard, Lands End, Carbis bay, Godrevy, St Michaels mount, Mousehole and the Eden project were all vivited during our 2 week easter stay interspersed with some fantastic beach days in St Ives. Couldnt have wished for a better holiday and the apartment played a major part - comfortable, clean, tescos 5 minutes away, pubs and shops in walking distance, our own easily accessed parking spot all helped make this a holiday to remember.
