Corner Cottage is a Grade II listed fishermans cottage which has been tastefully renovated to provide a warm and welcoming home for your stay in the heart of Downalong St Ives.
The Cottage is situated just yards from the sea at the Porthmeor end of The Digey. A cobbled lane which connects the harbour and Fore Street (the main shopping street) to the beautiful surfers beach of Porthmeor and the fabulous Tate Gallery.
The house is accessed by granite steps leading to the front door (where you can stand at the open stable door and catch a glimpse of the sea whilst drinking your first 'cuppa' of the day)!

Kitchen/dining - Fully fitted with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave. Separate washing machine and dryer. Large old pine dining table with upholstered chairs, window seat.
Bedroom 1 - Double bed, chest of drawers, dressing table and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 - King size bed, one single bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, beside cabinets/drawers
Bathroom - White suite with shower over bath. Ladder radiator.
Bed linen and towels are provided. (But not beach towels. Please bring your own with you).

Downalong is full of twisting turning narrow streets scattered with many art galleries, great restaurants and fascinating architecture, completely enclosed by the harbour and surrounding sandy beaches.
Reserved car parking space is in the nearby Porthgwidden car park. It is possible to drop your luggage of outside the cottage before continuing on to the car park.
