We would like to start by saying a big 'Hello and Welcome ('Danarg' in Cornish) from Orca Sea-Faris - to all members of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
Orca Sea-Faris consists of just two of us at present Captain Leeves (a professional captain C.L.M with Eco-Tourism experience down under in New Zealand,, and Suzi Gilpin (a trained nurse and ex-sea scout leader). We both have an immense passion for all wildlife and are at our happiest when surrounded by Mother Nature.

Our aim. We aim to set a precedent for future Eco-Tour operators and as such we are proud to fly our 'WiSe' flag from our vessel. We are pleased to say that we have now completed ' the WiSe Accreditation Course for safe Eco-Tour operators and will endeavour to keep our standards high.
Who we are. Orca Seo-Foris is the first totally dedicated wildlife Eco-Tour operator working all year round based in Falmouth. Please look at our website for further information:
Seaquest1 'Our Vessel'. Essentially we are operating from a custom built 36 foot Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) with a Certificate 2 MCA licence giving us 60 nautical miles from any safe haven/port. We are third party insured for "twelve-passengers and two crew and hove full safety equipment onboard. Our vessel 'Seaquest1' has several unique features including the following: a spotting-tower; hydrophone (to listen to cetaceans and seat (via external speaker); a pair of electronic trolling motors (which are totally inaudible above below sea level and non-polluting); camouflage netting ,,(to-enable our vessel to transform into a mobile bird hide).
'Seaquest' cruises at 30 knots with a deep and soft riding hull: Comprehensive thermal flotation suits will be provided (when necessary). Hot and cold snacks (separate cost) and a marine toilet onboard. Safety and comfort-of our passengers is paramounrt at all times.
Our philosophy. We have the utmost respect for all sensitive areas and are members of the RSPB and WDCS (Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society) and are proud of our philosophy. 'As guardians of the coast we ask our passengers to respect bird and marine wildlife at al! times (by reducing noise leaving no litter and helping us to document all species), therefore ensuring protection of our fragile marine environment/eco-system'. NB. We are actively supporting the cetacean by-catch campaign.
Where our Sea-Faris can take you and what they can. offer you. We have many exciting and varied excursions available in our immediate area from Dodmon Point in the East to Lizard-Point in the South West, both fantastic sheltered estuaries of the Fal and Helford Rivers. Alternatively a full-day ' dedicated marine, cetacean, pelagic, basking shark sea-fan. covering Faimouth to Gwenap Head - Porthgwarra - Lands End - Isles of Scilly (weather permitting). Can you help us find the Fin Whales this winter? (4 nautical miles off Lizard). The more eyes the better
Photo opportunities are encouraged, witnessing nature at its best. We also include an inter-active commentary, which' , (following 2 years of thorough research!!) will involve information of geographical, geological, wildlife and environmental interest, smugglers' tales (pirates and shipwrecks), military and historical stories and literary themes (including Daphne-Du-Maurier).
All our trips are tailor made to suit your requirements and specific needs " particularly with small group bookings (we can sail with ten persons onboard).
