Westwood House is a modern, detached, and extremely spacious house with 5 large double bedrooms - two of which are ensuite. Accommodation is for 10 people with plenty of options to enjoy your surroundings. The rear garden is completely enclosed and has a swing for younger guests and a hot tub for the adults in the group to relax after long days on the coastline of Cornwall.

Westwood House is a modern detached house in a small cul-de-sac of two other similar properties. Tehidy Estate is made up of around 40 acres of communal woodland, meadows, formal sunken and walled gardens and open lawns which are available for all of the residents to use. The accommodation is particularly generous with 5 large double bedrooms offering comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests. With the study and games room offering space for the younger guests, leaving the large lounge and conservatory offering space for others to relax.

Front entrance hall - The front entrance leads to the large open hallway with cupboard storage.

Kitchen - Windows overlooking the rear gardens. This is a very spacious room and has a comprehensive range of wall units. A built-in dishwasher to help reduce the workload while on holiday along with a built-in freezer. Stoves gas cooking range if you chose to eat in. Door leading through to utility which has washing machine available for your use.

Lounge - Double doors lead from the entrance hall to the lounge which has two leather 3-seater sofas and a leather arm chair, 52” large flat screen Plasma TV with surround sound, DVD player and built in Freeview, along with Sky HD and Sky World Package.

Conservatory - Adjoining conservatory room furnished with two (lazy)leather sofas and a leather arm chair with views over the back garden.

Games Room - Containing fully operational 7’ x 4’ pub style pool table (free play) and retro Arcade console which plays Pacman game. Ideal room for allowing younger guests to have their own space (and those of us who want to relive our youth).

Master Bedroom - The master bedroom has a super king size bed with built-in wardrobes and large ensuite with shower, bath, two basins and WC.

Guest Bedroom - Large bedroom with King Size bed and built-in wardrobe. Also has ensuite with shower, basin and WC.

Twin Bedroom (bedrooms 3 and 4) - Both rooms have two single beds along with wardrobes and other storage.

Bedroom 5 - Dual aspect room with a double bed and wardrobe

Family Bathroom - Pleasant family bathroom with large walk-in shower, wash hand basin and WC.

Garden - The rear garden of the property is enclosed and has a swing for our younger guests. There is a lawn area along with table and chairs and a gas BBQ is provided for your enjoyment. For those of you who want to relax with a large glass of wine and look at the stars on a clear Cornish night, there is also a 6 seated hot tub in the rear garden.

The front garden is open plan with parking for 4/5 vehicles.

Westwood House is centrally located being within 20 minutes of a large number of attractions. The lifeguard patrolled beach at Portreath Bay is perfect for families and is a mere 10 minute drive from the property. Just 15 minutes away are the 3 miles of golden sand at Godrevy / Gwithian in St Ives Bay, where you can expect to see seals in their natural environment and also the possibility of seeing dolphins in the bay.

The historic picture postcard fishing town of St Ives is 20 minutes drive away, offering splendid beaches and a large selection of restaurants overlooking the harbour. Discover the 250 acres of Tehidy Country Park with over 9 miles of footpaths and cycle paths (safe for all ages) and then relax at the café by the lake while the children feed the swans and ducks.

Also attached to Tehidy Park is the well-renowned Tehidy Park 18 hole Golf course which allows pay-and-play all year round. The cathedral city of Truro is a 10 mile drive away with Penzance (offering links to the Scilly Isles) a 20 minute drive away.
