Situated on the edge of St. Ives, Blackbird Studio is in a quiet wooded area yet within walking distance of the many beaches, art galleries and restaurants. It is adjacent to footpaths and bridleways should you prefer to take a more tranquil route and enjoy the wildlife - a walkers paradise!

Saturday changeover - Arrivals at 3pm please depart by 10am.

The house has a colonial-style feel with the perfect mix of contemporary style and rustic charm. As you follow the garden path you will enter through double doors into the open-plan galleried lounge equipped with large flat screen TV, DVD player and ipod lead. This leads on to the kitchen and dining area with large family table. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob/electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. This beautiful living space has glorious sea views over St Ives Bay. To the side is a staircase leading to a mezzanine lounge/reading room perfect for sketching or just taking in the views! There is an outgoing phone line should you feel the need to keep in touch via Wi-Fi.

There is a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer and wet room with WC, washbasin and electric shower. There is under floor gas central heating and a cosy log burner.

The 3 lovely bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin) are light and airy and have bespoke whitewashed fitted wardrobes. All beds made up with quality linen and towels.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over and washbasin and WC.

Please bring your own beach towels.

Blackbird Studio is set off the main road into St. Ives, in a quiet area on the edge of fields and woodland. You do not need to drive into the town and risk the hustle and bustle of the narrow streets and the one-way system.

Leave the A30 after the Hayle bypass and take the A3074 to St. Ives. Proceed through Lelant village and Carbis Bay to the mini roundabout at the Tesco superstore. Carry straight on for approximately 300 yards and turn left at the Cornish Arms pub. Turn immediately left again into Steeple Lane, keep left and continue straight ahead until you see a layby on your left and Blackbird Cottage on your right. The lane to Blackbird Studio is just before Blackbird Cottage.

Do drive slowly up Steeple Lane - it's very narrow with Cornish hedges!
