Ancient Lights is a stone built fisherman's cottage which has recently been carefully restored to give a lovely bright vintage feel and is newly available for 2011 bookings. The cottage is independently owned and run and looked after with love. It is situated in a pedestrian only street which is quiet despite being only a couple of minutes from the main beaches and town.

Ancient Lights is an idyllic cottage, great for a family or group of friends, and perfectly situated in one of the best locations in St Ives.

The cottage has two bedrooms and a sofabed and can comfortably sleep 6.

The front stable door leads into a dining-kitchen area, leading through to a bright living area with stairs leading to the first floor bedroom and family bathroom, and from there to the master. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need for your holiday using a mixture of vintage and new.

The main bedroom has super views of the St Nicholas Chapel and the sea.

Outside is an large elevated terrace with a table and chairs - lovely to enjoy sunny barbeques after a day at the beach

A superb housekeeper is on call 24 hours a day and there is the option for guests staying two weeks to have their linen and towels changed and the cottage cleaned half way through the stay.All linen and towels (not beach) are provided. Digital free view, MP3 compatible, DVD player (Supply your own dvds), Washer/dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee machine, iron, ironing board.

There is a car park just behind the cottage.

One well behaved dog is very welcome.

St Ives offers superb sandy beaches, ideal for swimming and surfing (wind breaks and body boards are provided at the cottage), while for those wishing to explore further afield, there is a coastal path in both directions and many beautiful coves, headlands and landmarks (Cape Cornwall, Lands End, Sennen Cove, St Michael's Mount) within easy driving distance.
