Woodside is a comfortable, cosy but inexpensive, holiday bungalow that has recently been refurbished. It is set in woods within 2.5 miles of St Ives’ golden beaches and West Cornwall Golf Links. Whilst offering all the facilities of the holiday village it also provides a relaxing home for visitors to explore other nearby activities; horse-riding, fishing, walking the coast path and Penwith moors or visiting other Cornish attractions.

Woodside (229 Trevacroft) is a privately owned, well-equipped, terraced bungalow in the wooded John Fowler “St Ives Holiday Village".
- Bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin.
- Bathroom: Mira shower, small bath, heated towel rail.
- Kitchen: Cooker, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, iron.
- Lounge/diner: Comfortable cane 3 piece suite, dining table and chairs, coffee table, TV and DVD.
- Outside: Patio area with table and chairs and deck chairs.
- Car park: concealed by trees at approx 40m.
- Holiday village: Contains large, indoor, heated swimming pool with water slide, putting green, restaurant and bar, shop, games room with pool table and video games, a club for children's activities, and evening licensed club with cabarets, discos, live music, game shows and competitions.

From Woodside there are many activities almost on the doorstep. For a great beach or surfing holiday enjoy the nearby stretches of golden sands; the gorgeous Carbis Bay is easy to reach by cycle or car (6mins), or by bus or shuttle train.
Old Mill Riding Stables is approx 200m down the road and West Cornwall Golf Links is beautifully located beside the sea in Lelant (2 miles).
Coarse fishing is available in lakes less than 1 mile up the road and trout fishing near Hayle (approx 5 miles away).
The historic fishing port of St Ives, with its world famous Tate Gallery, twisting streets, golden light and blue sea has always attracted artists and sightseers. It is one of the finest places for eating out in Cornwall. Porthmeor Beach provides great surfing, and families will love Porthgwidden Beach and sands of Carbis Bay and Hayle Towans.
Gwithian Beach (6.5 miles away) is one of the finest surfing beaches in Cornwall. Throughout the year surfing lessons, equipment hire and pick up from the holiday village are available by prior arrangement.

- Buses run every hour from the holiday village to St Ives (15mins) via Carbis Bay.
- A Park and Ride at Lelant Saltings (3mins) serves a shuttle train (every 30mins) along the coast to Carbis Bay and St Ives beaches.
- Buses link with St Erth station for main line trains between Penzance and London.
FURTHER AFIELD
Sandy beaches sweep round St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. West of St Ives the coast path provides some of the most spectacular scenery in England. Penzance, St Michaels Mount and the South Coast are only 6 miles away, and Land's End 16 miles down the scenic coast road. From Penzance you can take a day trip by helicopter or boat to the Isles of Scilly or visit Newquay, the surfing capital of Britain, and the amazing Eden Project is just 25 miles up the A30.

Follow the A30 to the end of the Hayle by-pass and at the roundabout turn right towards St Ives. Turn left at the second mini-roundabout and St Ives Holiday Village is one mile on the right.

Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday
Arrival: 4.00pm onwards.
Departure: by 10.00am please.
