Tomhara is 30 seconds from the sailing beach, 1 minute from St Enodoc Golf Course club house and 2 minutes from the ferry crossing to Padstow with its renowned restaurants. Rock is located in one of the most outstandingly beautiful areas of England with sailing, windsurfing, surfing, kite surfing, spectacular walks and huge sandy beaches on the doorstep.

The house stands in an elevated position facing south and enjoys stunning views over the Camel Estuary and the hills beyond. The house sits in an extremely sheltered position with a terrace and garden to the front, and a further terraced garden to the rear. The garden is not overlooked and, unusually for the area, provides a large play area for children and is surrounded by large, mature trees of various species. There isoutside furniture and a barbecue area. Due to its sheltered position, the temperature in the garden is often noticeably warmer than the surrounding area.

The house is built “upside down” with most of the living area set above the bedrooms on the ground floor. The living area on the top floor comprises a large sitting room, huge kitchen/dining room opening onto a sundeck, study area, kid’s playroom/6th bedroom and WC.

There are 4 bedrooms on the ground floor (2 twins and 2 doubles), 3 of which open onto a terrace. There are two large bathrooms both with baths and separate showers. Tomhara also has a self contained nanny/granny bedroom with a double bed and WC above the garage.

The ground floor also has a large hall, utility room, shower/WC. The living area, kitchen and all bedrooms face south and have views overlooking the Camel Estuary.

All the usual modern facilities are provided; double electric oven with gas hobs, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, oil fired central heating, open wood fire, 2 fridges, a further fridge/freezer, 3 TV’s, video, music centre and ironing facilities.

The north coast of Cornwall and the area around Rock in particular, is an area of outstanding natural beauty and provides a wealth of activities for both the young and the not so young. The coastal scenery is some of the very best in the British Isles and there are many National Trust gardens within striking distance, which are second to none.

Rock is approximately 4 hours from London by car. The closest railway station is Bodmin Parkway, which is approximately 10 miles away. Alternatively, there are daily flights (Ryan Air) to Newquay from Stansted and British Airways from Gatwick to Newquay. By car, the journey is about 15 miles from the airport to Rock. National Express buses run from Gatwick and Heathrow to Wadebridge (5 miles away).
