With uninterrupted views of the sandy surfing beach of Porthtowan and rugged Cornish coastline, Polvenna has recently been refurbished and offers very comfortable accommodation.
Access is along a farm track. Porthtowan is a popular surfing and family beach (Blue flag status) with a village store, several surf shops, Post Office, family pub and trendy, beachside bistro, beach cafe and fish and chip shop. The beach is a five minute walk down the cliff from the property (not suitable for elderly or pushchairs).
Also accessible directly from the house are the spectacular coastal footpaths and Chapel Porth (National Trust) beach a short walk away from Porthtowan beach (at low tide!) or along the cliffs. The lovely old village of St. Agnes is 5 mins drive away, St. Ives 30 mins and the Eden project 40 mins by car. Truro with it's stunning cathedral and varied shopping is 20 mins away.

Accommodation
The accommodation at Polvenna is split over three levels; the entrance hall stairs lead down to the living area with a large open plan lounge with comfortable seating and cosy wood burner, and dining area with spectacular uninterrupted views of the sea. Patio doors lead to the south facing garden which is equippped with table and chairs and barbeque. Off the dining area is a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, double oven, microwave and large larder fridge. A spacious twin bedroom and family bathroom with bath, w.c., basin and shower cubicle are on this lower level.

The entire lower level has natural oak flooring as does the mid level where there is a bedroom with bunk beds and a double sofa-bed. The utility room houses the washing machine and freezer and has ample drying room and access to the garden. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room and both with white-washed wooden floors and sea views.
