Arvor Holidays is situated on the North Cornwall coast, and only a 30 minute drive from the South Cornwall coast.

We are a small establishment located only 3 miles from the main A30 Chiverton roundabout between the villages of Porthtowan and St. Agnes on the main coast road, and across the road from the National Trust coastal footpath.  We are an ideal central base to make day trips to any part of Cornwall.

Arvor Holidays is able to offer two newly converted farm buildings for your residential holiday accommodation. They are both single storey properties on a level site with ample parking and wheelchair accessible throughout.  Both properties provide bed linen, duvets and towels (not for beach use).  Electricity and central heating are included in the price.  A cot, highchair or other aids may be provided if requested at the time of booking.  We have a No Smoking policy and do not accept dogs or any other pets.

Cornwall has a lot to offer as a holiday resort.  Whether you are looking for a peaceful relaxing time away, or a beach holiday with the many water sport activities, coastal walks, historical castles gardens and museums (many are National Trust) and many, many more.

Swallows is a large two bedroomed property which is approached from the level driveway. The paved and gated patio area has a picnic table, washing line, and a planter full of herbs for the use of the guests. The door leads into the spacious hallway and is central to all the rooms. The spacious double aspect lounge/diner (which also has a double sofa bed) is equipped with a wall mounted 32” TV, a DVD player, a wall mounted electric log fire and a CD music system. There is a large main double bedroom which has a 19” TV along with a great deal of wardrobe space. The second twin/double bedroom is also able to offer electric beds should they be required. The kitchen is fully fitted with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual facilities. The wet room has a shower, washbasin, toilet and anti-slip flooring.

Skylarks is a similar two bed roomed property which again is approached from the level entrance drive. The paved garden area with the picnic table and herb garden is the perfect place for a relaxing breakfast. The door leads into the spacious hallway from which access is to all the rooms. There is a lounge/diner again with a 32” wall mounted TV, a wall mounted electric log fire, a DVD player and CD/ music system. The first bedroom is a spacious double with a 19” TV and lots of wardrobe and drawer space, and the second bedroom has a high sleeper with a single bed on top and a futon bed below, and a single bed, again with ample storage space. The fully fitted kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and all the other usual facilities. The wet room has a shower, washbasin, toilet and anti-slip flooring.

Arvor Holidays is an ideal base to work from. Although we are on the north coast we are only 30 mins from the south coast. Day trips can take you from one end of Cornwall to the other.

Porthtowan is only one mile away. A good surfing beach and holding the accredited blue flag it is a favourite with all ages.

If golf is your pleasure there is Truro Golf Club - 7 miles, Killiow Golf Club - 9 miles, Perranporth Golf Club - 6 miles, and Tehidy Golf Club - 5 miles. All are of very good standard and welcoming to visiting players.

For gardens and country houses there are many National Trust Gardens, Trebah, Trelissick, Trerice, Glendurgan, St Michaels Mount and Trengwainton to name just a few, as well as Trevarno, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Falmouth is able to offer the Henry VIII Pendennis Castle, the Maritime Museum, a wonderful walk around the Castle Drive which overlooks the docks and the harbour which is reputed to be the third largest natural harbour in the world. There are also many boat trips on offer in the area.

Children love the many attractions and theme parks. Dairy Land Farm World is a favourite with animal lovers. Holywell Bay Fun Park and Flambards are popular too.

There are a selection of cycle trails in Cornwall, one of which is only 3 miles away. This is the Coast to Coast trail which travels from Portreath on the north coast to Devoran on the south coast. Another popular one is the Camel trail. This follows the waterway from Padstow to Wadebridge and on  through the countryside to Bodmin, passing the well known acclaimed Camel vineyard. Many places have cycles for all ages to hire.
