Sowenna is a beautiful Cornish cottage, lovingly renovated to create a relaxing seaside feel for your Cornish get away. Sowenna is an ideal choice for couples or small families, with two bedrooms it can accommodate up to four people comfortably.

One of the main attractions is the close proximity to Mounts Bay with its long sandy beach and of course the jewel in the crown, St Michaels Mount, The beach is less than a minutes walk across the road and under the bridge. The beach is perfect for walks, BBQ's and even a dip in the ocean! It is also an ideal base for exploring the best of west Cornwall.

Master bedroom with built in wardrobes, window seat overlooking Mounts Bay, double bed, and lofty high ceilings with the original wooden beams exposed.

Second bedroom, smaller with a futon, built in cupboards, and window seat.

Bathroom with double shower, W/C and linen cupboard.

Shared courtyard with use of patio furniture, and herb garden. Private outhouse with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Sowenna is ideally located only a stone’s throw to Mounts Bay beach, so you don’t need to stray too far to get your feet sandy! With plenty to entertain the kids; rock pools to explore at low tide, sand castles to build and sheltered waters to swim in.

It is only a five minute walk to Penzance town centre where you can explore the cobbled streets, galleries, and beautiful tropical gardens, or take a stroll along the promenade with your fish and chips!

If you want to go further afield Sowenna is the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful local area by car.

• Open top bus to Lands End/ Porthcurno
• Day trip to Isles of Scilly on the boat or helicopter

 
The bus station, train station, harbour, and heliport to the Isles of Scilly are all within a ten minute walk from the cottage.
