Penryn is a charming, historic town situated at the head of the river that flows into Falmouth Habour. It is a town that has undergone somewhat of a revival in recent years with the foundation of Tremough Campus, Combined University of Cornwall.
Penryn boasts a variety of modern cafes, bars, gift shops, art galleries, the best takeaway Indian in Cornwall (in our opinion), two chip shops and an amazing delicatessen, and lets not forget the bakeries selling the good old Cornish Pasty!
We are just 10 minutes from one of the most popular towns in Cornwall...Falmouth a habour town offering a further variety of cafes, restaurants, beaches, shops, art galleries. If you decide not to take the car, then you can leave it behind - after all, you are only a 4 minute walk from the train station where you can take a train every 30 minutes to Falmouth, Truro or almost any major town in Cornwall.
Even better, why not bring your bicycles! You can cycle to Falmouth in about 15 minutes and if you decide to get away from it all, then we are surrounded by some of the most beautiful country lanes, ideal for exploring the Cornish countryside.

The House
![]() The Garden | ![]() The House |
The house offers the best of both worlds: whilst being situated in the heart of a harbour town with easy and direct access to everything, we are located off road in a tucked away position. We offer a large secluded garden for you to enjoy barbeques and sunbathing in privacy and relative solitude. You will also enjoy a variety of birds that visit the garden and be able to watch the squirrels going about their daily life.
The bespoke kitchen has granite worktops and a central island that allows for sociable cooking . It is also equipped with a stainless steel 5 ring cooker, ideal for cooking for large groups. (for days when you don't fancy a takeaway from one of the local food outlets)
The bathroom is luxurious, offering a wetroom shower, granite surrounded bathtub, two basins, a bidet and toilet - and is even equipped with it's own sound system! (bring your favorite music and relax in the bath whilst enjoying a glass of wine)!
There is also a separate shower room and 2nd toilet adjoining the utility room which houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer.
There is a spacious living room with solid fuel burner, a small flat screen TV, DVD and music system. Both the living room and the kitchen offer fantastic views over the tree-lined garden and Penryn itself.
There are 3 spacious bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor and a further two on the 1st floor. We offer extra sleeping space on a comfortable sofa bed located in the living room. Cots are available on request.
All in all, this is a fantastic option for those looking for a holiday offering easy access to many beaches, walks and attractions in Cornwall, whilst enjoying some space, solitude and luxury to relax in at the end of the day.
