The beach is just the other side of the dunes. You can walk in 10 mins, or cheat and get there by car in 2 mins. Perfect for kids of all ages, with miles of sand, no crowds (it's too big for crowds!), rock pools, swimming, surfing (rental & tuition available at Sunset Surf), kite buggies and loads of other activities available. Otherwise, just chill out and read a book, or walk along the coast path to see the seal colony at Godrevy.

Nearby: Gwithian village is 5 mins from the site and has a pub with good food and beers. Hayle town is 5 mins by car, and St. Ives is 15 mins away. Marazion, St. Michael's Mount, Falmouth, Mousehole, and many other beautiful spots are nearby.

Shopping & Eating: Hayle town & St. Ives have a range of shops and restaurants. Co-op, Liddle, M&S, Next, and a large Boots are all within 10 mins.

Hibiscus is located on the Atlantic Coast site at Gwithian, near Hayle, in Cornwall. The site nestles against the dunes, on the other side of which is one of the best beaches in the country; 3 miles of glorious sand, cliffs and rock pools.

Directions: Leave the M5 at junction 31 and follow the A30 all the way to Hayle. At Hayle take B3301 to Upton Towans. Atlantic Park is 1 mile on left - easy!
