| ACCOMMODATION | |||||
| The Farm House has 3 double bedrooms, one single room and a bunk room, with bathroom and shower, all on the first floor. On the ground floor is the entrance hall and large lounge, separate dining room and kitchen. There is a separate utility room which leads to an enclosed rear garden with apple trees. The front of the house has parking for up to three cars. Pets welcome by arrangement. | |||||
| LOCAL FACILITIES | |||||
| St Merryn village is approximately ˝ mile from Towan Farmhouse where there is a petrol station and garage, Londis and Spar stores, fish and chip shop, newsagents, post office, 3 GREAT restaurants, deli and bakery. The Cornish Arms has recently been taken over by Rick Stein and offers the same quality of food but at more affordable prices. Other local pubs include - The Farmers Arms, The Dog House wine bar and restaurant, Harlyn Inn and The Tredrea Inn at Porthcothan. | |||||
| The Bays of Treyarnon, Constantine, Booby's, Trevone and Harlyn are all within five minutes drive, where the scenery, beaches and walking are all exceptional. Dogs are allowed on these beaches all year round. Four surf schools operate locally. Trevose Championship Golf Course is ˝ mile from the house. The working fishing village of Padstow is approximately 3 miles, boasting Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant and School (reserve and start saving now!). There are many more restaurants in Padstow and a Tesco store. | |||||
| The magnificent Eden Project is just 30 minutes drive from Towan. You can pre-book entry at the post office in St. Merryn and avoid waiting in extensive queues. | |||||
| RYANAIR operate a daily flight into Newquay airport from Stansted. Air South West fly from many UK cities and Dublin several times a day into Newquay from Gatwick. The airport is 15 minutes drive from Towan Farmouse and is serviced by taxi's. www.ryanair.com or www.airsouthwest.com | |||||
