Dwina is a detached eco friendly chalet in the dunes next to the beach overlooking St. Ives.

A perfect retreat for artists, surfers, dreamers and families it comprises 3 double bedrooms, two with cabin style beds reached by ladders and with futon mattresses, a large open plan living and kitchen space, a galley style bathroom with indoor loo, surf shed and outdoor earth closet.

Set in a sandy garden with a lily pond full of frogs it has been largely hand crafted and offers a unique opportunity to get away from it all. Views look out across the bay to St.Ives and the beach is 100m away.

All mod cons: washing machine, hot and cold running water, shower, electric cooker and wood burning raeburn.

There is no television but there is internet access, the shelves are full of books and there is a table tennis table outside in the garden and use of a surf shed.

Bring your own bedding and towels.

We are situated on the SW Cornwall coast path just north of the Harveys Towans car park. Our chalet is identifiable by a large sculpture of sea buoys directly outside by our parking space.

Harveys Towans car park is reached by turning across the iron bridge opposite the BWOC garage in Hayle and following the estuary along North Quay.
