... a traditional Victorian Cornish cottage, with lovely views of Fowey Harbour from its first floor windows, in this unspoilt corner of Cornwall. The cottage, which sleeps 7, is decorated and comfortably furnished in keeping with its mid-Victorian character. It is situated high up in the village, just below the main car park, and as a result has panoramic harbour views from three of the bedrooms. The beautiful coastline and countryside around Polruan is wonderful for walking, beaching and boating, as well as being full of historic interest. |

Twixtu has 4 bedrooms on the first floor and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The front bedrooms comprise a double, a large twin and a single. There is a second double bedroom at the rear. Downstairs, the central hall has a lounge to one side and dining room to the other, both with cushioned window seats and exposed ceiling beams. The dining room leads into the kitchen and through to the downstairs bathroom, which has an electric shower over the bath. The cottage has a rear yard and a good size garden to the front. There is a picnic table on the front lawn for al fresco dining. |

The cottage is less than 5 minutes' walk to Polruan quay and harbour as well as the village's small range of shops (small supermarket selling bread, milk, vegetables etc, newsagents, gift shop, tea shop & post office). The village boasts two popular pubs and a thriving boat yard. From the quay is a regular passenger ferry to Fowey running throughout the day approximately every 15 minutes. |
