Located within 7 acres of meadows and traditional broadleaf woodland with abundant wildlife and private woodland walk, it is quietly nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty, within the World Heritage Site of Luxulyan Valley, with its unique network of waterside walks.

Acorn Camping and Surrounding Area
Acorn Camping lies just one mile from Cornwall’s premier attraction, the Eden Project, and the Saints Way Pilgrim Trail is a five minute walk away.
Why not enjoy this beautiful area by bike using the local cycle route. A five minute drive leads you to Cornwall’s southern coast which offers a taste of the ‘real’ Cornwall.
The nearest beach is 3 miles, shop and pub 1½ miles. Secluded coves, picturesque fishing villages and attractions are in abundance such as Fowey, Mevagissey, Charlestown, Pentewan, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.
For something different why not take a stroll or the cycle route to the village of Luxulyan and take the local train from the request stop to Newquay.

The Hobbit Huts are spacious,11 square metres and enjoy a landscaped setting. Ideal for glamping, each hut is nestled in its own niche; sleeping up to four on double futon and 2 sitnsleeps which convert into beds. The huts are equipped with a camping pack, tables, clothes hangers, Bowl, bucket for keeping things cool. Each hut has a covered outside cooking area with 2 single burner camping stoves and nearby is the hobbit hamlets communal fire pit. Nearby, each hut has its own shower room (with hot water) which includes a wash-basin and toilet. There is also a communal washing-up sink (cold water only) and clothes line.
The huts and toilets have no internal mains electricity and are well lit using battery powered LED strip lighting for the huts and a lantern for the toilets which can easily be charged by your car battery.
The Hobbit Hideaway is suitable for 2 people.You will be the person who enjoys adventure and the outdoors, walking and exploring.
The Hobbit Hideaway is reached by a woodland path and offers the opportunity to stay in a traditional ancient broadleaf woodland and to see and hear the wildlife.
Imagine living basic but enjoying some of the traditional comforts whilst immersing yourself in your magical surroundings. You will be nested in the woodland and experience campfire cooking.
You will have the luxury of using the on-site showers, wash basins and toilets provided for our campers and the washing up sinks are a short walk away. Drinking water is close which can be carried back to your hideaway. There is a communal fridge freezer and free ice pack exchange.
There is a parking area a short walk away and wheelbarrows are on hand to take your belongings
The Hobbit Holes are situated beyond our woodland in their own glade. Part of your experience will be your 5 minute pictueresque journey along the woodland path, through the spinney walk and over the trip-trap bridge to your hole. With beautiful views over the valley a perfect place to watch the setting sun.
Side double doors open onto a patio deck with its own firepit and cooking area with 2 single camping gas stoves. Suitable for 2 people with a double bed with pocket sprung mattress, cottagy furnished 12 x 10 timber room.
The holes have no mains electricity and internal lighting is battery powered. They are not heated but the sunshine heats the timber and creates a natural warmth.
You will share toilets and showers, wash basins and sinks with other campers in our camping meadow which is a couple of minutes walk. Drinking water can be carried from here back to your Hobbit Hole.

Camping and Pre-pitched Bell tents
The tent area is a gently sloping ¾ acre site and offers a choice of pitches. The site has 4 toilets, 3 howers with hot water, 2 washrooms with hot water, a washing-up area (cold water only) and a traditional oak woodland walk. There is a communal fire-pit with logs available (only logs bought on site allowed) BBQs allowed (blocks available for standing) but sorry no dogs due to local wildlife.
The site has no electric hook up.
Our three NEW 4 metre Bell Tents are sited on their own decked area (so nice and flat!) and sleeps up to 4 people. The Bell tent package consists of a pre-pitched bell tent and equipment. You can book up to 3 Bell tents. The Bell tent is fully equipped with an integral ground sheet, camping mattresses, 2 Moroccan Floor Cushions, 2 small table, 2 tierTea Light Chandelier, rugs, 2 camping cookers, Saucepan, kettle, fry pan, utensils, cutlery and cool box. Full details of the camping pack are on our website.

The Snook
The Snook is a romantic getaway for 2 set in a private magical sensory garden with its own barrel sauna
Set on the periphery of our traditional beech and oak woodland. The terraced garden has several levels given it a special character with the sound of running water and scented sensory planting gives a sense of wellbeing. The garden also has a small fire bowl where you can enjoy a relaxing evening around the fire.
This unique little Snook comes with its own redwood cedar barrel sauna (wood fired) one bag of logs is included free. The sauna includes changing room and outside cold shower) which is situated within the garden. The Snook also has its own private toilet 20 metres from the accommodation and has use of one of our 3 communal hot showers. You also have use of the communal washing up sinks and fridge freezer.
