| Stewarts House Holiday Cottages are situated
on the edge of Week St. Mary - a peaceful and historic Cornish
village with ancient church, post office store, village inns,
playing field and tennis court. There are two pubs within walking
distance, The Green Inn and Treetops, both offering good food
and the occasional music night. |
| The holiday cottages are only four miles
from Widemouth Bay - a long stretch of sandy beach with rock
pools and ideal surfing conditions. Other beaches and coves
nearby include Crackington Haven and Bude. |

| Stewarts House holiday cottages are set
in the grounds of Stewarts House and were converted from an
old coach house. The delightful cottages comprise two semi-detached
holiday homes, each with three bedrooms (sleeping up to six).
The cottages share a pretty walled Victorian garden, a courtyard
with far-reaching views across rolling countryside (equipped
with tables and chairs for al fresco dining) and a games room
with pool table and table tennis. |
| The holiday cottages at Stewarts House are
ideal for family holidays. The beautiful beaches and coastline
of Widemouth and Bude (famous for surfing), historic Launceston
with it's ancient castle and steam railway, King Arthur's Tintagel,
Boscastle and the delightful Clovelly, are all close-by. |
| The Cottages |
Coach Cottage - sleeps up to 6.
Accomodation on the ground floor comprises a double bedroom,
a twin, a bunk bedded room (suitable for teenagers and children)
and a shower room. A comfortable open plan living room on the
first floor has wonderful views and a well equipped kitchen.

Stable Cottage - sleeps up to 5/6.
Accomodation on the ground floor includes a large double bedroom,
a single bedroom and a shower room. The third bedroom is on
the first floor which is bunk bedded ( again for more suitable
for teenagers and children). Also on the first floor is an open
plan living space, with dining area and fitted kitchen and the
same great views across the valley towards Bude. A comfortable
double sofa bed gives an extra option for sleeping arrangements.

| Additional Information: |
- We can also supply a cot, baby bath, highchair and stairgate
if required.
- Pets are welcome at the cottages by prior arrangement
and are charged at £30 extra.
- Change-over day is Saturday.
- We accept short breaks outside of high season - please
enquire for prices.
- We also offer discounts for late bookings if we have availability.
However we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid
disappointment.

| The Local Area |
| The area around Stewarts House is perfect
for family holidays. Whether you like lazing on the sandy beaches,
surfing, walking or exploring the places of interest, there
is plenty to entertain the whole family. |
| Bude is Cornwall's special unspoilt place
"where coast meets countryside". The Bude area offers its visitors
a variety of holiday experiences from a relaxing short or weekend
break to challenging activity holidays in natural surroundings,
family holidays with nearby attractions and adventure parks,
and opportunities for walking, cycling, golf and bird watching,

| The area has some of the best surfing beaches
in the UK and was the site of the first life-saving club. Add
a spectacular heritage coastline, designated area of outstanding
beauty, unique sea-lock and canal with easy disabled access,
a friendly town with mostly locally owned shops, special events
and festivals throughout the year, and you have all the ingredients
for a great holiday location. |
| There are many sandy beaches in the area,
including Widemouth Bay, Bude and Crackington Haven. The beaches
are family friendly, with plenty of rock pools to entertain
the younger children. Bude has some of the best beaches in the
country and our special climate means they can be appreciated
all year round. The spring tides are the highest in Cornwall
and it is strange to think that only a few hours after you have
been standing at the sea's edge, that same area will be covered
with over 20 feet of water! |
