The Cottage
For those looking for somewhere a
little bit different to stay while visiting this wonderful part of
the world, we have created a rather special holiday cottage, set within
a stunning landscape where the moor meets the sea. The rugged coastline
of Penwith is as stunning as it is dramatic. It is classed by many
as real Cornwall, with its idyllic coves and ancient history. PS:
So sorry - no dogs; we have our own!
We've createda very special place
to stay in this beautiful rugged corner of Cornwall, set within a
stunning landscape of moorland, with the sea for a backdrop. The cottage
is equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable break.
We have appealingly furnished it to a very high standard, reflecting
the traditional nature of the buildings.
Accommodation:
The cottage features a beautiful kitchen comprising fitted oven and
hob, fridge and dishwasher, leading to relaxing sitting and dining
areas. The bedrooms are individually furnished with top quality beds
and bed linen, while all the bathrooms feature both baths and showers.
The cottage is conveniently situated at the end of a farm lane on
the outskirts of St Ives, only four fields away from the famous Gurnard's
Head pub and only one mile away from Zennor and the renowned Tinner's
Arms.
Inner hall leading to double bedroom,
twin bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dining room, sitting room/conservatory
with double glazed, double doors opening onto the front with uninterrupted
sea views. Sleeps four (travel cot can be provided).
Outside:
Granite chipped courtyard leading to lawned garden with shrub, plant
and farm border. Outside table and chairs provided.

By Car:
Head west out of St Ives on the B3306 towards Lands End, take the
second turning on the right signposted Trowan, follow the farm lane
to the end and you are there. By Train:
The main line to Penzance stops at St Erth where you can then catch
a train to St Ives which is a short but scenic journey. By Plane:
The nearest airports are Newquay (45 minutes) or Exeter (2 hours).
