| Alexandra Place is a well
Equipped and roomy family house that will sleep 7/8 guests plus a
travel cot is available on request. |
| We are 5-10 minutes walk
from the town, the Tate gallery and the four beaches that are around
the town. |
| There are buses that run
every 30 minutes from St Ives rugby club (which is just up the road)
to the beaches and town, or if you wish a taxi will cost around £3.00.

| Alexandra Place has gas
central heating though out, and parking directly outside, plus additional
parking is available on request at no extra charge (what a saving!)

| Central St Ives is just a 5 minute
walk away and therefore is easily accessible to the fantastically
varied restaurants to accommodate all tastes, shops, artist studios
and of course the Tate Gallery. |
| The Tate St. Ives is part of the Tate
Gallery in London; it is a stunning building with a varying exhibition
of local and national works, well worth a visit. The Gallery's inspirational
building stands high above the magnificent Porthmeor beach. Porthmeor
is a Blue Flag Atlantic Ocean family and surfing beach with surf school,
fine golden sand, good sunbathing by day and spectacular sunsets.
During the summer, trained lifeguards ensure the bathing is as safe
as possible. There are restaurant and cafe facilities right on the
beach; toilets and beach huts on the terrace behind. Take a fishing
trip from the harbour in St Ives or watch the local fishermen landing
their daily fresh catches of locally caught seafood. |
| Lands End and the open-air theatre
at Porthcurno are only a short distance away (17 Miles) and there
are also numerous coastal walks which take in the breathtaking scenery.
