This is a
very special property. Roscollas Barn and the owners house are
in the middle of 40 acres of natural fields and woods. It has
been described as a retreat, a sanctuary - and yet it is within
easy reach of all that Cornwall has to offer, such as spectacular
coastal paths, long sandy beaches, the Eden Project, St.Ives and
famous tropical gardens.
Roscollas
Barn is only 10 minutes drive from the Helford River, Glendurgan
and Trebah gardens, Falmouth and local beaches.
There are
many good walks on the property some of which take you through
ancient oak and hazel woodland where the bluebells are wonderful
in May. The land has been carefully conserved avoiding any use
of agricultural chemicals for the past 20 years. There are badgres,
foxes, rabbits a rich birdlife from green woodpeckers to buzzards;
open fields with butterflies, wild flowers and grasses.
ACCESS
Prospective visitors are advised that access to Roscollas Barn
is via an unpaved 400 yard private lane. Cars with very low
suspension, such as some sports cars, may not be suitable.
