Rayle Farm Holiday Cottages are situated on a working farm which extends to some fifty acres of woodland and pastureland.

Cornwall, with its mild climate, is a holiday destination to be enjoyed whatever the season: Spring, for the hedgerows brimming with wild flowers; Summer, for those long days and balmy evenings on the beach; Autumn for the dramatic colour changes; and Winter for brisk coastal walks and cosy evenings in.

For stays of a week or more, a delicious supper of traditional Cornish pasties and ice cream will be provided to welcome you to your holiday cottage and we can arrange to supply you with clotted cream and local brown eggs. In late summer, blackberries abound in our hedgerows and you are welcome to sample the apples from our farmhouse garden if you feel like a pie or crumble for your supper.
SHORT BREAKS FROM £150
The Courtyard cottages, Rayle Farm cottage and the Farmhouse Wing are traditionally built of mellow Cornish stone and enjoy the most stunning views across the surrounding countryside of fields, a stream and wooded valley down to the sandy beach at Portreath which is great for children and also for surfing. On still nights, the waves can be heard breaking on the Portreath shore. All the accommodation is fully equipped to cater for your convenience whilst on holiday. There is plenty of parking space by the cottages and boat owners will find room for a trailer or small boat. A laundry room is provided on the farm with washing machine and tumble dryer for guests' use. There are televisions and microwaves in all cottages. Heating is included in the tariff during cooler months. Dogs are welcome in all our accommodation at a cost of £10 per dog, per stay.
(Sleeps 2 - 4) This beautifully converted cottage is ideal for a couple or small family. It offers a good size living/dining/kitchen area, and the bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds, all furnished to complement the country setting. There is a sofa bed in the living room to provide an alternative sleeping arrangement. There is a pleasant bathroom/wc.

(Sleeps 2 - 4) Buttercup's is an ideal holiday cottage for a couple, although the cottage can accommodate four guests with the use of a sofa bed in the living area. Comfortably furnished throughout, there is a good sized living/dining/kitchen area, one double bedroom and pleasant bathroom/wc. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker and refrigerator.
(Sleeps 4 - 6) Girlie’s Cottage is laid out on two stories and is comfortably furnished for six people. The cottage retains its traditional country charm and offers delightful holiday accommodation. The spacious living/dining/kitchen area occupies the entire ground floor, with two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.

(Sleeps 4 - 6) This character cottage is comfortably furnished for six people and is a cosy holiday retreat. Jessica’s is a cottage with real country charm, the spacious living/dining/kitchen area occupies the entire ground floor, with two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, all comfortably furnished.
(Sleeps 4 - 6) This lovely cottage which is fully equipped for six people has been renovated to provide excellent holiday accommodation whilst retaining its traditional features. The delightful and spacious living/dining/kitchen area includes a ‘Villager’ woodburning stove (fuel available from the farmhouse at a small charge). The kitchen/dining area is separated from the living area by a low, natural stone wall. There are two cosy bedrooms at the back of the cottage fitted with pine furniture and country furnishings, together with a very pleasant bathroom and wc. This cottage is ideal for Christmas/New Year gatherings.

(Sleeps 4 - 6) Bridget’s Cottage is full of traditional Cornish country charm and is well equipped for six people, with traditional comfortable furnishings, perfectly complement the country setting. The light filled living/dining/kitchen area has windows on three sides. There are two bedrooms and a pleasant bathroom/wc with walk in shower.
(Sleeps 6 + Cot) This stone built cottage stands at the entrance to the farm and has its own sheltered garden. The living/dining room is comfortably furnished and visitors can enjoy a log fire if they wish. The kitchen is well equipped for six people and includes full size cooker and refrigerator. Upstairs there are three well furnished bedrooms - two with double beds and the third with bunk beds. There is a cot and highchair available. There is ample parking space.

(Sleeps 6 + Cot) The Farmhouse Wing is a self contained wing of our delightful farmhouse and enjoys superb countryside views towards spectacular Carn Brea. The large L-shaped living/dining room is a light and tastefully furnished room with open fire. The kitchen is well equipped for six people. Upstairs there are three good sized bedrooms, all comfortably furnished. There is a cot and highchair available. Outside there is an adjacent garden for guests to enjoy, with drying facilities and ample parking.

Rayle Farm Holiday Cottages are ideally situated to explore the whole of Cornwall. The stunning North Coast with its many beaches and coves, including Chapel Porth, Porthtowan and Godrevy is just a short drive away, the South Coast is also easily accessible. Portreath offers the nearest sandy beach and is just over a mile away.

There are facilities for cycle hire, tennis, surfing, horse riding and trout fishing, all available locally. The Mineral Tramways Project is a dedicated cycle path that stretches for 17 miles from Portreath to Devoran passing through Bridge - a mainly dedicated path with a few roads to cross.

Nearby is the Carn Brea Leisure Centre which offers heated swimming pools, a fitness centre and a wide variety of sports including squash and badminton. Tehidy Golf Course, one of many fine courses in Cornwall, is just over a mile away.

Cornwall has many places and attractions to visit within easy reach of Rayle Farm including: a myriad of National Trust properties and gardens, Tate St Ives, National Maritime Museum Cornwall, The Eden Project, Newquay, Padstow and many more!
