Estate lodge perfect for Garden lovers. Set within the grounds of an historic estate, Penwarne Lodge is a lovely two bedroom cottage, with a private 3/4 of an acre woodland garden.

Accommodation
The Lodge is furnished traditionally with floral fabrics. The ground floor has a well-equipped modern kitchen overlooking the secluded private garden. To the front of the cottage are a traditional country style dining room and comfortable living room, equipped with TV/DVD and a selection of games and DVDs.
A light, airy bathroom, with bath, shower, basin and W.C. also overlooks the garden. Upstairs are two generous bedrooms with far reaching rural views - a double room with super king size bed and a second twin room which can be converted into a double bed or accommodate a further single bed according to your requirements.
Private parking is provided on a gravel drive adjacent to the Lodge and beside an extensive lawn. Well behaved dogs welcome.
Note: Non smoking property. Bookings Friday to Friday.

The Gardens
The 12 acre private gardens at Penwarne, described as 'magical' in the Good Gardens Guide, are one of the most notable in the area. Guests staying at the Lodge can enjoy a tour of the gardens, which include one of the largest collections of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias in the county.

The Lodge at the Penwarne Estate lies just outside the pretty village of Mawnan Smith with its good pub, restaurant and famous tropical gardens. The beautiful coastal paths and sailing waters of the Helford river, the vibrant maritime town of Falmouth and the sandy beaches at Maenporth are all within a short drive.
