Chykembro is a traditional Cornish cottage located just outside Penzance, in the town of Marazion.

Ideally positioned within 100m of St. Michael's Bay, from which you can visit the world famous St. Michael's Mount, the cottage is only a short walk from the town centre.

Marazion is perfectly placed from which to explore both the South and North coasts of Cornwall, with Mousehole, St. Ives, Sennen Cove, the stunning Minnack theatre at Porthcurno, the Eden project and the cathedral city of Truro all within 45 minutes by car.

Marazion, 2 miles from Penzance and 7 miles from St. Ives, is one of the oldest chartered towns in Cornwall. With a resident population of around 1500, it offers a range of local facilities including post office, general store, bakery, art galleries, cafes and 4 pubs!

Chykembro's accommodation comprises a spacious, contemporary sitting/dining room, well equipped kitchen, spacious master bedroom, modern bathroom and second twin bedroom with views of St. Michael's Mount.

Just 100 metres from Chykembro are two beaches, one laden with rock pools to explore, the other offering golden sand and stunning views of St. Michael’s Mount and Mount’s Bay. Wind and kite surfing are on offer on the life guard patrolled beach which is dog free from Easter to September.

Situated on the South West Coastal Path, Marazion offers a range of coastal walks including the Cornwall Coastal Path and The Pilgrims Way. The Cornish Way cycle path from Marazion to Mousehole offers magnificent views of the Bay.
