From all aspects of the 6-acre grounds surrounding the house any visitor can not fail to be captivated by breathtaking views over the river into Looe and the lush green Cornish countryside of the valley slopes opposite.

Our eight cottages share this unrivalled location and offer the ultimate in luxury self-catering accommodation. We offer one, two and three bedroom cottages - each cottage is individually decorated and furnished to achieve a unique interior style.

Our cottages were specifically created for use as holiday homes - winning a design award for tourism accommodation. Using local stone and rustic timber each cottage has been positioned to give you a panoramic view you will never want to leave. Peace and tranquillity of the countryside yet only five minutes walk from the bustling harbour town of Looe with its fish market, restaurants, pubs, shops and beaches.

To further enhance the Barclay House experience - a heated outdoor swimming pool nestles in a sunny corner terraced above the lawn waiting to refresh you during those hot summer days. Access into 3 acres of adjacent private woodland, mainly oak coppice has been opened up for guests to enjoy.

You can also refresh your thirst with a drink from the bar; and we will be only too happy to help you with our wealth of local knowledge, not to mention make reservations for you in our restaurant for lunch or in other fine local restaurants for dinner.

1 Bedroom semi-detached cottages
Rumsdale, Pendruffe, Homehill, Little Larnick

All our one bedroom cottages have:

• Bedroom with twin beds or king-size bed. Access to private balcony.
• Bathroom with corner jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower & built-in wardrobe.
• Fully fitted kitchen.
• Lounge/Dining room with access to private patio.
• TV and Telephone in both the lounge and bedroom.

2 Bedroom detached cottages
Bramblecoombe and Trevillis

All our two bedroom cottages have:

• Master bedroom with kingsize bed (Trevillis) and double bed (Bramblecoombe) and access to    private balcony.
• Master Bathroom with bath ( jacuzzi in Trevillis) walk-in shower and bidet.
• Second Bedroom with twin beds.
• Built-in wardrobes to each bedroom.
• Lounge/Dining room with access to private patio.
• Trevillis cottage has TVs in both lounge and bedroom.

Langunnett and Woodgate
