The perfect location from which to explore Cornwall, the Farm is a
just 3 miles from the idyllic fishing village of Polperro and the
popular seaside town of Looe. The south coast of Cornwall boasts picturesque
fishing ports and miles of unspoilt beaches, as well as great walking
and sightseeing opportunities along the South West Coastal Path. Inland
the wilds of Bodmin moor offer a fantastic chance to explore Cornwall’s
rich mining heritage. The area also boasts some of the best restaurants
and undiscovered pubs in the entire South West, serving mouth watering
local produce along with a great selection of local ales. At the end
of a long day exploring the region, come back to the Farm and relax
in our luxury sauna and Jacuzzi facilities, or just sit and watch
the comings and goings of the abundant wildlife that frequents the
fields and hedgerows. |

Each of our self catering 4 Star holiday cottages
is beautifully furnished and includes the following facilities for
a comfortable stay:

| There is also a luxurious indoor Jacuzzi and sauna
on site for guests to enjoy during their stay as well as a centrally
located fully equipped laundry. |
| Perfect for couples, there are three one-bedroom
self catering holiday cottages sleeping two. These are all on one
level with no stairs, and two have wheelchair access. Also available
are two larger cottages, ideal for friends sharing. These are two
bedroom cottages and both sleep four. |
| We provide thoughtfully equipped accommodation,
with cleanliness and comfort a priority, as our visitors' books will
testify. We pride ourselves on achieving a score of 100% for cleanliness
on every Visit Britain grading assessment we have ever undergone!

and a toilet seat height raiser on request. |

| Regretfully, we do not accept dogs or children
under the age of 11. In consideration of all our guests' comfort,
we also operate a no smoking policy on site. |

| Hendra Farm is a pleasant twenty minute walk
from the village of Pelynt |
Pelynt is a well serviced and very friendly village with:
- Two shops, one with a butcher and the other a Post Office
- Restaurant The Dagger
- Traditional country pub The Jubilee Inn
- Two hairdressers
- Garage - filling station & workshop
There is also a church and a Methodist chapel, both offering regular
Sunday services. The parish church is the resting place of Trelawny,
the Cornish hero of the English Civil War. |
The nearby picturesque
fishing port of Looe
With its bustling harbour, Looe offers a busy calendar of events including
the Festival of the Sea and the Jazz Festival, both in May. There
are regular exhibitions, concerts, a regatta and an annual carnival,
as well as numerous local ’foody’ events. There's a range of fishing
and boat trips and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars close to
the trawler-lined quays. For those visiting out of season, the town's
New Year's Eve celebrations with fancy dress, are reckoned to be amongst
the best in Britain. |
