Why not visit The Olde House and enjoy a wonderful holiday,
away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, in a Cornish
cottage on a working farm. The Olde House is situated in the
small, picturesque village of Chapel Amble on the North Cornish
Coast. Just a few miles away are the sandy beaches of Daymer
bay & Polzeath, offering surfing and swimming, whilst Rock is
a major centre for sailing and waterski-ing. Cycle the Camel
Trail, winding along the bank of the Camel River from Padstow
to Wenford bridge on the edge of Bodmin Moor or walk the spectacular
cliffs from Rock and Tintagel witnessing heart stopping views.

| The Olde House itself offers traditional
farm cottages on a 500 acre working farm. Our cottage are well
appointed, cosy and 'open all year' for young and old alike.
We offer a 'holiday for all seasons' and aim to provide a memorable
holiday at any time of the year. |

| Some of our cottages were once farm buildings
and have now been lovingly restored and converted into holiday
cottages. All the cottages are soundly built with Cornish stone
and slate roofs. Each cottage is in excellent condition, well
appointed and comfortably furnished. |

| Facilities |
Indoor Leisure Centre
As an alternative to the beaches and other activities in the
area, the leisure centre has proven to be the most popular asset
to The Olde House, sited so as to be close to some of the cottages,
but away from others. The leisure centre includes a indoor heated
swimming pool, children’s pool, whirlpool bath, sauna and is
equipped with changing rooms, showers and toilets. There is
also a lounge area with a full size snooker table, T.V and darts.

Indoor play barn
The indoor play area for the under 10’s has slides and tunnels
leading into a small ball pool. There is also a play house and
foam padded play area. Included in the play barn there is an
information room where there is a large selection of leaflets
for all the attractions in Cornwall. |
Indoor pets corner
Our indoor pets corner is a wonderful opportunity to hold, feed
and fall in love with the adorable animals on the farm. |
Outside facilities
Outside there is a patio, large adventure playground with swings
and climbing frame. You could also test your skills on the huge
outdoor chess set or practise your backhand on one of the two
tennis courts available. |
Farm trail
The farm trail gives you an opportunity to walk around the fields
and pastures and take in the natural beauty and wildlife of
the surrounding area. |
