Trethevy Barns is a small complex of newly converted traditional Cornish barns, located on the North Cornish Coast between the historic village of Tintagel and the picturesque harbour village of Boscastle. The barns are modern and comfortable and retain the character of their history.
Trethevy Barns are perfectly located for exploring North Cornwall, walking the coastal path, surfing, and visiting many wonderful beaches. There is a footpath right on the doorstep leading down to the spiritual St Nectans Glen Waterfall. The nearest beach, within walking distance is Bossiney cove. This can be accessed via the coastal path through the Rocky Valley which is a short walk from the property. The beaches at Trebarwith Strand Polzeath and Widemouth Bay are ideal for surfing and for children and are just a short drive from Trethevy.

The Pottery is the largest of the barns and has 2 good sized bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a bathroom with bath (shower over) WC and basin on the first floor.

The pottery sleeps Max 6 (using sofabed in lounge).

Downstairs is a large open plan lounge dinner and kitchen area.

This room has a complete wall of french doors making it light and very spacious. It is equipped with 1 sofa 1 sofa bed (for additional sleeping space) TV DVD and Stereo. There is a dinning area with a good quality dining table and 6 chairs.

The kitchen is modern, fully fitted and equipped including a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer drier, fridge and freezer.

The Pottery has the benefit of underfloor central heating on the ground floor and radiators on the first floor.

There is ample parking space for 2 cars. There is a courtyard, ideal for alfresco dining, at the rear of the property where there is also a summerhouse and barbeque area.

The Barns are non smoking and cannot take pets.

 

Pottery Living Room

The Mill & The Grainstore are one bedroomed properties ideal for couples or a group of up to 4 people. There is the facility to open the 2 properties into one with the use of a connecting door. Ideal for families sharing.

The Mill and Grainstore each sleep max 4 ( using sofabed in lounge).

The ground floor has a lounge (with sofabed for extra sleeping space) TV DVD and stereo. The fully fitted modern kitchen area has a hob, oven, washing machine, microwave and fridge.

Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a modern shower room with WC and basin.

The properties are centrally heated.

Outside there are 2 parking areas, courtyard with furniture and a shared area with a barbeque and summerhouse.

Although completely separate from each other the barns offer the possibility of accommodating a larger group.

The Barns are non smoking and cannot take pets.

Trethevy barns is situated within 1.5 miles of Tintagel, Bossiney and Boscastle and provides easy acces to some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in Great Britain it is a quiet rural coastal area and are perfect for relaxation.

A 30 minute drive to the Eden project to discover the wonders of nature. Easy access to the surf beaches and the mystical caverns of Tintagel an area quoted in the many legends of King Arthur. Trevethy barns are located in the exact spot of St Pirans Well where it is beleived that St Piran, the patron saint of tin miners, fell to his death.

The barns are ideally situated for walking the coastal path as well as accessing beaches, golf courses and attractions in north Cornwall.
