| Gull Cottage is a traditional and beautiful Cornish
cottage occupying one of the most beautiful locations in the area and is an idyllic
place to stay. |
| It sits in a small row of old cottages
directly overlooking Boscastle's beautiful and historic
harbour. Fall asleep to the sound of the sea and wake
to watch the boats bobbing on the turning tide below.
Spend time sitting out and taking in the stunning views
of the quay and out to sea or enjoy one of the numerous
local restaurants and pubs. |
| Situated on the south-facing side of
the harbour the cottage is easily recognised by its distinctive
boat-seat attached to the front of the house (actually
it is a full sized boat half buried in the ground) - this
is the perfect place to sit and read or simply to watch
the world go by! |
| The cottage is also situated adjacent to the South West
Coast path and provides an excellent base for visiting the many and varied attractions
and beaches of North Cornwall and beyond. |

| Once you step through the front door
you will find a stylish home with some beautiful and original
period features; cosy for 2, but spacious enough for up
to 8 people. The living and dining rooms are at the front
of the property with stunning views across the harbour,
both have the added feature of open fireplaces fitted
with wood-burners - the perfect place to spend cosy autumn
and winter evenings. |
| Downstairs you
will find a fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a separate
utility room with another shower and washing machine. In addition the house has
separate heating, providing a comfortable base for stays all year round. |
| Externally there is parking for 2 cars
and a private terrace directly above the harbour from
which you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the activities
below - you may even catch sight of one of the seals which
regularly visit the village. |
| Upstairs are 4 good sized
bedrooms, 3 of which have views across the harbour with the fourth overlooking
the old sail lofts to the rear. There is also a stylish bathroom with a bath and
separate shower. |

| Boscastle is a stunning village and is ideally situated
for a holiday in Cornwall with a large number of attractions only a short drive
away. However there is much to see and enjoy in the village, which in addition
to its local shops has a number of good restaurants and traditional Cornish pubs
for you to enjoy. |
| The cottage itself is adjacent to the
South West Coastal Path and so many beautiful walks can
be taken from the front door, whether they be north along
the coast towards the beautiful beach 'Strangles' or south
towards Tintagel, the fabled home of King Arthur and his
Round Table. |
| If you want to take in some of
the many stunning beaches in North Cornwall there are a number of the best surfing
beaches within a 15 minute drive, including Bossiney, Crackington Haven and Widemouth
Bay. |
