| Accommodation and Facilities |
| At Mount Elland we offer you a comfortable,
relaxing double room with en suite & shower, in a brand new annexe
attached to our bungalow which is a working smallholding with magnificent
views of the Stithians Reservoir from our land, and distant sea views
towards Mounts Bay. |
| As well as your bedroom, you have
exclusive use of a lounge with TV / DVD so you are at liberty to come
and go as you please! |
| There is a dining end where we serve
breakfast...as much as you can eat! Cereals, Full English or Continental
plus toast and fruit etc. etc. and your own tea making facilities
so you can drink whatever & whenever! Although we do not provide evening
meals you have a microwave so can do your own thing if you fancy an
evening in, otherwise there are plenty of local inns and restaurants
that cater for most tastes, or use the BBQ in the garden if the weather
is ok. |
|
|
| Feel free to wander around our 12
acres and meet the chickens, ducks, geese, and sheep, and if you are
into bird watching sit and watch the lake visitors come and go as
well as our ever present buzzards that hang on the thermals. The winter
is a particularly good time here for waders, as our end of the lake
is a bird reserve. |
| The other end of the lake has a water
sports centre and we can store your trailer etc if you are bringing
boats down. We are 5 miles from Falmouth with all it's super water
based activities, and 5 miles from Redruth where you may like to trace
your genealogy with the help of the famous Cornish Studies Library.
The Lizard with all it's beauty is also about 5 miles and we are only
3 miles from Carn Brea and the bike trails that wend all around the
mining communities, so we are well placed for whatever you enjoy doing! |
| Our rates are straightforward, £50
per night for two people sharing the double room £30 for one person
on their own, we also offer a 10% discount for 6 nights or more, and
have out of season reductions from October 1st to March 31st. |
