The Cuddy

‘The Cuddy’ is a one bedroom self-contained annexe to a family home ideally situated in the higher and quieter part of town yet within a ten minutes walk to the town centre with its quaint cobbled streets, picturesque harbour and golden sandy beaches. Within close walking distance of the ‘The Cuddy’ are two social clubs both with regular entertainment, the new St Ives Leisure Centre, local shops and public transport services.

The ‘Cuddy’ is fully double-glazed and has gas fired central heating with constant hot water. There is also free safe car parking on the premises. Bed linen is included. Sorry we do not allow smoking or pets.

The comfortable lounge/diner has radio/ CD player, TV and DVD player.
Fully newly fitted kitchen has built-in electric oven and gas hob with cooker hood over, there is also an upright fridge/freezer and microwave oven.

There is a wetroom shower and toilet with wash hand basin mirror and shaver light.

St Ives

St Ives situated on the north Cornish coast is approximately 8miles from Penzance and is famous for its quaint cobbled shopping streets, picturesque harbour and four golden sandy beaches, Porthmeor beach being re-known as one of the finest surfing beaches in the UK and Porthminster one of the safest. St Ives is also famous for its artist’s colony with lots of interesting studio’s and is home to the Tate Gallery. St Ives boasts some of the finest restaurants serving a vast range of top quality seafood and local produce. Locally there are many leisure facilities to include: - a large indoor sports/leisure centre, tennis, bowls, putting, undersea diving lessons, horse riding, 18-hole golf. Fishing trips and of course delightful coastal walks. Should one wish to travel further a field there are dozens of quaint picturesque fishing villages to explore and many major attractions within a short car journey, ‘The Eden Project’, ‘open air Minnack Theatre’, ‘Falmouth Maritime Museum’ and ‘Lands-End’ to name but a few.

Directions

When travelling by car leave the A30 and take the A3074 into St Ives. As you enter St Ives you will pass the bus and train stations on your right continue down the hill for approximately 200 yards then and take the first road on your left (B3306) heading out of town, continue up this road (for approximately half a mile) through two mini round about’s and then take the first road on your right immediately after the second mini round about, we are the second house on your left with large white gateposts.

There are good bus and rail services to St Ives and Cornwall has excellent air services into Newquay from London, Manchester, Bristol, and Plymouth, Newquay Airport is 40minutes drive from St Ives.
