Padstow,
made famous by celebrated chef Rick Stein and the traditional May Day
"Hobby Hoss" celebrations is 7 miles up the coast and well worth a visit.
Newquay is 8 miles down the coast and is a very lively town even in the
winter with a variety of theme pubs and dance venues, and the ideal town
for a good night out!!!The Eden Project at Penwithick near St Austell is certainly going to be a top attraction in the years ahead with its giant pods housing plants from all over the world. The construction process is now completed and has been fully planted with plants from all over the world. Don't miss this chance to visit the "Eighth Wonder of the World" as it is already a popular destination for visitors and the local people. |

Our county town Truro is a further
10 miles inland from Newquay and is also worth a visit with its cathedral
in the middle of the city plus lots of the major stores - M&S etc.
Twenty miles to the west is Lands End - the south western tip of England
famous for the start or finish for the intrepid walkers!!!. An outstanding
stretch of coastline. St Ives is also worth a visit with its quaint narrow
streets and The Tate Gallery. We hope this information will be of interest to you should you decide to do any sight seeing rather than "surfing" or" hiking" or just chilling out. Weekend breaks are also available out of season. Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to ask us. We look forward to hearing from you. |
